Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine will be at Marietta College in Columbus for the second gubernatorial debate with Richard Cordray on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
And for those who wish to watch the debate among friends, the DeWine campaign has organized a series of watch parties.
The first debate two weeks ago surprised many. It was a no-holds-barred slugfest in which both candidates attacked each other’s record with nonstop fervor. That put an end to the talk of this race being one of the most mundane and even “the nerdiest race in the country.”
As came through loud and clear in the first debate, these two candidates are polar opposites in the way they would approach almost every issue facing Ohioans for the next four years.
Below are the locations of eight free watch parties and the headlined speakers scheduled at each event.
