HILLIARD, Ohio – On the eve of a special election, President Donald Trump held a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In Hilliard, Ohio and around the state, Buckeyes gathered in dozens of Watch Parties to support the President and cheer him on.
Garrett Arnold arrived early and tweeted, “Great crew in Hilliard at our MAGA meetup!! Now we are getting ready for @realDonaldTrump to ROCK IT in NC!!!! #LeadRight #BuckeyeBattalion.”

Vice President Mike Pence introduced the President: “It’s especially great to be here with a friend of mine, a man who loves the state of North Carolina and has been fighting every day to keep the promises that he made…the 45th President of the United States of America, President @realDonaldTrump!”

And when the President walked in, Fayetteville and Hilliard chanted together, “USA, USA!”

Overflow rooms were opened to hold all the rally watchers. President Trump could be heard in every room and seen on every television in the Don W. Roberts Law Offices.
And around Ohio, including but hardly limited to Painesville, Cambridge, Warren County, Kettering and Zanesville, the Presidents’ fans ate together, watched together and cheered together.

President Trump recognized several special attendees, including two Congressional Candidates who face voters on Tuesday. “Beautiful evening in Fayetteville tonight! Big day in North Carolina tomorrow. Make sure you get out and VOTE for Dan Bishop in #NC09 and Greg Murphy in #NC03!”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 10, 2019
Bishop is facing a tough race in a district Donald Trump won handily three years ago. The ninth district election is to fill a seat that the state board of elections refused to certify last November because of alleged absentee voter fraud.
Murphy is trying to win the Third Congressional District seat following the death of Congressman Walter B. Jones.
Before the evening in Hillard ended, prizes were handed out to attendees. Holly Forthofer came to the Hilliard party all the way from Huron and was the first to win a prize – a Donald Trump rubber duck!

The President ended his nearly one and a half hour long speech in classic Trump style: “We are great Americans and the future belongs to us…And we are going to keep on winning, winning, winning. We are one movement, one people, one family and one glorious nation under God…We may have right now the greatest economy in the history of our nation. And ladies and gentlemen of North Carolina [and Ohio], the best is yet to come! Together we will make America wealthy again. We will make America strong again – we’re doing it. We will make America safe again! And we will make America great again!”
The Ohioans in Hilliard believe that’s exactly what President Trump is doing.
