War Room Pandemic: Michael Patrick Leahy Talks Election Certification Process

Stephen K. Bannon welcomed Michael Patrick Leahy on Monday’s War Room: Pandemic to discuss the 43,000 absentee ballots that violated the chain of custody rule in Georgia and questioned the Secretary of States’ position on the certification of the election.

Leahy: You hit the nail on the head. It has to do with the process of certification, particularly in Georgia that Raffensperger went through. You know in May, the Georgia Republican Party convention censored him. Censored Raffensperger for dereliction of constitutional duty for failing to look at these chain of custody documents.

He didn’t have a single one of these documents in hand when he certified that election.

So the question really for Raffensperger is this. If you knew then what you know now about 43,000 absentee ballots counted in DeKalb County that violated your very own chain of custody rules, would you have certified the election?

Bannon: Amen.

Leahy: That’s the question we want to ask Raffensperger.

Bannon: Amen. Michael, I’ve got to bounce. But give us your social media. The people have to go to all your news sites and get your news feed.

Leahy: Georgiastarnews.com. That’s the best way to get to this particular story. The Star News Network is at thestarnewsnetwork.com and The Tennessee Star is at tennesseestar.com.

Bannon: By the way, you nailed it. It’s the certification process and how it happened and what we are going to do about it. And like the decertification process. Michael Patrick Leahy, thank you very much.
