Hollywood actor Bradley Whitford, an outspoken critic of conservatives who regularly uses vulgar and obscene language to blast President Trump, was thanked for his “moral vision” by Democrat Aftab Pureval.
On his Twitter page Thursday night, Pureval posted:

Whitford was in Ohio raising money for Pureval’s campaign, which seeks to upend incumbent Congressman Steve Chabot (R-OH-1). The actor is also asking Democrats nationwide to support Pureval financially with an untraceable donation through ActBlue, a website which conceals the identities of Democrat donors.
Whitford, who plays the fictional character of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman in the hit TV series West Wing, also came to Ohio in September to campaign for Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH).
Whitford has gone so far as to write “F**k your shoes” in a tweet directed at the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, referring to her line of clothing and accessories.

Whitford has called President Trump a “rodeo clown,” a “racist, misogynistic, proudly unintellectual,” and a “white nationalist,” among other inflammatory names.
On the ActBlue website, Pureval writes:
Donald Trump and Steve Chabot have failed us. Washington is gridlocked and dysfunctional. I want to offer something different. I want to take on the rigged economic system, protect access to health care, stand up for women and children, and bring real reforms to Congress. But I need your help.”
Pureval has already outraised Chabot by a margin of 2-to-1, with much of it flowing in from California and other states where Democrats dominate with an agenda of pro-abortion, high taxes, gun control, sanctuary cities and open borders.
As of Sept. 30, Pureval has raised $3.5 million, compared to $1.6 million for Chabot. According to Open Secrets, 36 percent of Pureval’s money has come from outside of Ohio, compared to only 18 percent for Chabot.
Pureval’s oft-repeated mantra of Republicans creating a “rigged” economy has no basis in fact, says Mandi Merritt, the Ohio spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee.
She notes that unemployment is down across the board, including the lowest unemployment for African-Americans in history, wages are heading up, and the average middle-class family in Ohio brings home an additional $2,200 this year, thanks to the GOP tax cuts.
Merritt is also not a fan of Whitford.
“From his Hollywood throne, Bradley Whitford has hurled insults at President Trump and bullied Republicans across the country,” she said.
