The election of John Rose in the TN 6th Congressional GOP primary checked every box to what’s currently wrong in the GOP. A multimillionaire using his wealth and the Farm Bureau lobby to conceal his identity while avoiding every effiort of what press remains to provide any critical analysis of him . If spending in excess of $2MM becomes the prereqiisite to successfully running for a seat the “People’s House” the nation will eventually fall to plutocrats who use the uninformed to elect them into power. WIth all the celebration over Bill Lee’s triumph in many wayss the election of John Rose was a sad day for conservatives.

Numerous conservative victories were achieved in a primary election that moved the Tennessee Republican Party definitively to the right. The one glaring exception to this trend was John Rose replacing Diane Black because if his supporters are any indication of where John’s politics are conservatives of the Sixth District can expect to be represented by someone notably to the left of Diane Black.

Conservatives, let’s keep an eye on Rose and today is not too early to sound out conservative officeholder in the Sixth District as to whether anyone would like to be a U. S. Congressman. Let John know that he is being watched and when Heritage Action releases its scores some months after congress convenes in 2019 we will soon know what we have.

You are absolutely correct. Mr. Rose spent a LOT of money to get elected. It appears that his media onslaught caused many District 6 voters to swallow the obfuscations that he spread about himself. thankfully we will have the opportunity to reverse this most likely bad choice in 2 years.
