Trump Victory’s National Week of Action Kicks Off

The Republican National Committee’s Regional Communications Director Mandi Merritt announced in an email Saturday – exactly one year from Election Day 2020 – that “Trump Victory kicked off a National Week of Action in Ohio and throughout the country to engage with supporters and activate our army of volunteers.”

“During this National Week of Action, the RNC and Trump Campaign are testing its national infrastructure by organizing and activating tens of thousands of volunteers in all 50 states across the country as a GOTV ‘Dry Run’ one year out from November 2020 to ensure volunteers are battle-tested and ready to re-elect President Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot,” she wrote.

All across Ohio Trump supporters gathered and knocked doors. Jared Borg in Parma tweeted, “The #BuckeyeBattalion is off and knocking on Parma! Our Candidates @AmandaLBilly1 & Jolene Austin #LeadRight and aren’t going to stop until the job is done! Let’s go win this!!”

Trumpster Deb Pettit and a gang from Mason tweeted, “It’s cold outside but the #BuckeyeBattalion is on FIRE BABY!!! Knocking doors and talking to voters, they are tired of the #Witchhunt and they love our ⁦@POTUS⁩ and support our local GOP candidates!! #LeadRight #OH4Trump.”

Saturday was cold for early November. Pettit and her fellow Trump supporters were still out at 6:00pm and the temperatures were in the upper 40s, but it felt like 42 degrees with the brisk wind.

Keeping up with the northern and southern extremes of the state, Franklin County Republicans showed up en masse as well. “Time to get knocking! #BuckeyeBattalion #LeadRight,” they tweeted.

Ohio is a key battleground state, and the Trump campaign is not taking victory in 2020 for granted.

Throughout the week, over 100 events are scheduled in Ohio. With the early start, a full year before the election, Trump Victory and the RNC believe they will have a well-organized operation and be miles ahead of the Democratic opposition.

“Trump Victory has been focused on building a sophisticated grassroots operation touching all corners of Ohio, and Democrats can’t match our ground game. Performing a test of our full infrastructure one year out from Election Day will help ensure our field teams are battle-tested and ready to re-elect President Trump and support Republican candidates up and down the ballot,” exclaimed RNC Spokesperson Mandi Merritt.
