While Joe Biden Stops in Columbus to Raise Money, Republican Polls Look Bad for Him

Former Vice President Joe Biden was in Bexley, Ohio on Halloween at a Columbus-area fundraiser. Unfortunately for Biden, money does not equal votes and polling is not looking good for the former VP.

“While Joe Biden fundraises like it’s business as usual, attempting to sweep the corruption surrounding him and his family under the rug, Ohioans are growing restless. Voters around the country are sick of the baseless impeachment claims against President Trump, and they want answers on “Quid Pro” Joe’s conflicts of interest from his time as Vice President,” RNC (Republican National Committee) Spokesperson Mandi Merritt told The Ohio Star.

The Grand Old Party announced the growing support for the President on Twitter. “Voters are tired of the Dems’ endless witch hunts. Internal RNC polling shows that the Dems’ impeachment attacks have only increased support for @realDonaldTrump. In fact, more want Joe & Hunter Biden investigated over Ukraine than support hearing about POTUS & Ukraine,” they posted.

The Republican poll also discovered that Biden’s image has taken a significant hit among Independents since March. He’s fallen 31 points, and a strong majority now view the former VP unfavorably.

Additional details of the poll included:

In our 17 target states, including Ohio, voters opposed Democrats’ efforts to remove President from office by a 14-point margin.

And:

70% believe this is ‘all politics’ and would prefer Congressional Democrats focus on issues like health care, trade, and the economy.”

Two weeks ago The Ohio Star reported a focus group of swing voters from Youngstown, individuals who had voted across party lines for President, did not view impeachment favorably. Results showed, “When asked whether the impeachment was ‘…a giant distraction from the stuff that matters to you?’ Nine out of the eleven voters agreed by a show of hands.”
