As postal crimes skyrocket and the United State Postal Service (USPS) conducts an audit on policies and procedures for keeping postal workers safe in Ohio, one man has pleaded guilty to two armed robberies against mail carriers.
According to several reports, 20-year-old Brandon Campbell of Columbus “admitted to using violence and a weapon to endanger the mail carriers’ lives and steal property from them.”

Columbus is facing a United States Postal Service (USPS) challenge as several mail carriers have now been robbed at gunpoint and their universal mailbox keys stolen.
“A gunman held up a letter carrier on Partridge Place in north Columbus on Jan. 27 when he was in the middle of his delivery route,” WTTE reported.

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) indicted six suspects linked to violent robberies over a period of years that specifically targeted Nashville’s Hispanic community.
“According to police, the six suspects were linked to 150 holdups that primarily targeted Latino families. It is estimated that the group robbed more than $150,000 in cash and belongings from victims and committed 29 violent robberies,” WKRN reported. “Police said the robberies occurred in parking lots at first and evolved into victims’ homes. Armed suspects would often make their entry through unlocked sliding glass doors.”
