Mainstream Media Calls Georgia for Biden Despite Recount Over Widespread Voting Irregularities

The mainstream media, including The Hill here, on Friday afternoon called the Georgia election for Joe Biden despite a recount being taken amid widespread voting irregularities.

MSN trumpeted the supposed Biden victory in the Peach State as a turnaround there for Democrats.

Biden’s apparent victory in Georgia is a historic moment for Democrats, who have long been relegated to second-place in the state. But a combination of changing demographics and rapidly growing urban and suburban populations in recent years have shifted the political playing field there, raising Democratic hopes that Georgia may soon become a new electoral battleground.

However, Every Legal Vote says President Donald Trump holds a slight lead if you factor in voting irregularities. Their Georgia data is available here.

Every Legal Vote shows that as of Friday evening, with voter fraud, Biden was squeaking by with 2,467,870 votes to Trump’s 2,456,275 votes.

That also does not factor in the recount.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday every ballot would be recounted by hand, The Center Square reported. There were nearly 5 million votes cast. Georgia’s deadline to certify election results is Nov. 20.

Voter fraud is a real concern.

Real Clear Investigations reported that in Fulton County alone, a surge of “20,000 mail-in votes suddenly appeared for Joe Biden, while approximately 1,000 votes for President Trump mysteriously disappeared from his own totals in the critical swing state, where Biden holds a razor-thin lead.”

Trump may request a recount if the results are under 0.5 percent, and so far, Biden’s margin has been around 0.3 percent, The Washington Post reported. Trump may make his request once Georgia certifies its results, which would happen after the audit is completed. If Trump makes the request, it would happen by officials rescanning hand-verified ballots.
