Trump to Hold Campaign-Style Rally in Ohio

Former President Donald J. Trump announced this week that he is planning campaign-style rallies in battleground states, including Ohio.

“Relatively soon, we’ll be doing one in Florida, we’re gonna do one in Ohio, we’re gonna do one in Georgia, we’re gonna do one in North Carolina,” Trump told One America News in a Thursday interview. “We’ll be announcing them very soon over the next week or two, and I think we’ll probably start in Florida and Ohio and we’ll be announcing the rallies very shortly.”

Star News Education Foundation Journalism ProjectOhio is a critical state for Republicans in presidential elections, and one that the 45th president won in both 2016 and 2020.

Citing a source close to Trump, The New York Post reported that “Trump would hold at least two rallies in June, with a third event likely to take place around the July 4 holiday.”

Trump is also scheduled as the keynote speaker for the North Carolina Republican Party convention on. June 5.

The former President’s behavior since leaving office has raised questions about whether he will run for the nation’s highest office again in 2024.

“I’m gonna make a decision at the right time and I’ll let you know,” he told One America News when asked directly about his plans.

Trump’s White House doctor, now a member of Congress, told Business Insider Friday that the 74-year-old is planning to run again in 2024.

“He says he’s going to run so we’ll see,” Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX-13) said. “He has been saying he’s going to. He’s seriously considering it – he’s probably going to do it – so we’ll see what happens.”
