Commentary: Tucker Carlson Is Right, But Who Is Responsible for This Disaster?

by George Rasley, CHQ Editor

Tuesday night Fox News’ Tucker Carlson had a great monologue about immigration, especially from Muslim countries and he singled-out freshman Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar (MN-5), who came to the U.S. as a refugee from Somalia, is “living proof” that U.S. immigration laws are “dangerous.”

“No country can import large numbers of people who hate it and expect to survive. The Romans were the last to try that with predictable results. So be grateful for Ilhan Omar, annoying as she is. She’s a living fire alarm, a warning to the rest of us,” Carlson said during his monologue.

“Omar is now at the age of only 36, one of the most powerful women in America. It’s an amazing story really. Only in this country could it have happened,” he said.

“Ilhan Omar has an awful lot to be grateful for, but she isn’t grateful. Not at all,” Carlson then said. “After everything America has done for Omar and for her family, she hates this country more than ever.”

“Omar isn’t disappointed in America. She’s enraged by it,” he continued. “That should worry you, and not just because Omar is a sitting member of Congress. Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.”

Hijra, or jihad by emigration, is a fundamental tenet of Islam harkening back to the earliest days of Mohammed’s war to establish hegemony over the cities of southwest Arabia. The first Hijra was the flight of Mohammed from Mecca to the largely Jewish city of Yathrib, now the completely Muslim city of Medina.

While the story of how Yathrib came to be Medina is too long to recount here, suffice it to say that by fleeing the city of Mecca, where they appeared to be in danger of being eliminated, and appearing at Yathrib as refugees, Mohammed and his small band of adherents were able to reform the Arab Muslim clans, gain new adherents and replace the population and leadership of Yathrib with the Muslims who became the army necessary to reclaim Mecca and eventually spread Islam throughout the world.

Sound familiar? It should, because Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Rep. Andre Carson are the first wave of the conquering army’s infiltration of our government.

And they were welcomed into Congress, as thousands of anti-American “refugees” were welcomed into America by Paul Ryan, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

Although Rep. Omar responded to his commentary by calling him a “racist fool,” Tucker Carlson is right.

And if Tucker Carlson is right, it is worthwhile asking who is responsible for this civilization-level disaster?

As with so many of the other disasters our country has faced in the past three decades this is a politician-made disaster, and an entirely predictable one to anyone who is paying attention to the effects of mass immigration of Muslims, among whom anti-constitutional liberty views are the cultural norm.

In no particular order of culpability, we can and should hold former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama responsible for introducing this poison into our society.

In a rational world the dangerous policy of allowing mass migration from Muslim countries that is intended to fundamentally transform America by importing jihad into our country would be stopped cold by a Republican majority in Congress.

But this is not a rational world, this is a world run by the personal whim of arrogant Washington insiders, chief among them being former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

Ryan and Obama made increasing Muslim immigration to America their special project and steadfastly fought any attempts by conservatives to slow or stop what a large majority of Americans believed was an existential threat to constitutional liberty.

Rather than use the Omnibus funding bills in the last years of his Speakership to limit Muslim immigration under the guise of Syrian “refugee resettlement,” Ryan sided with Obama and gave him the money to bring over 300,000 more existential threats to constitutional liberty to America.

But this tidal wave of anti-constitutional liberty Muslim immigration began building well before Obama became President and Ryan became Speaker.

As Breitbart News reported, more than 140,000 Bangladeshi nationals — a group of Muslims larger than the population of Dayton, Ohio — have entered the United States since 2005 for no other reason than to reunite with extended family members.

From 2000 to 2013 (the height of the “war on terror”) thanks to Presidents George W. Bush and Obama some 2,338,013 legal immigrants arrived in America from Muslim countries.

Why did America need over 2.3 million Muslim immigrants while we were fighting a worldwide war against Muslim terrorists? What is the benefit to America? Moreover, what were the risks? Which government agency vetted who arrived, who got to stay and who qualified for US citizenship?

Such questions do not constitute “Islamophobia.” Moderate, assimilated Muslims know these kinds of questions are fair minded and entirely reasonable. After all, the Egyptian and Pakistani people also faced Islamic terrorism in their own countries during this time – and continue to do so today.

No one, especially Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Speaker Paul Ryan, could be so naive as to believe that importing millions of Muslim immigrants would not bring the same thing to America.

As we concluded in our columns “America’s Suicidal Muslim Immigration Policies” and “Importing Jihad,” Islam, as it is today practiced by millions of Muslims across the globe, is inimical to the separation of church and state and government based on constitutional liberty. We are in a war of ideas, not just with radical Islamists, but with concepts deeply embedded in Muslim culture. And as long as mass legal (and illegal) immigration from Muslim countries continues unabated we are losing that war.

Tucker Carlson was right, “Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.”
