The Ohio Star Podcast Kicks Off the First Episode with Roger Stone on DeSantis v. Trump, Ohio Political Strategist Matt Palumbo, and Reporter Peter D’Abrosca

The Star News Network launched its first episode of The Ohio Star Podcast Thursday, hosted by TSSN’s National Political Editor Neil W. McCabe, as part of its expanding coverage of the Buckeye State.

“The truth is we have great Ohio reporters breaking news and covering stories the mainstream outlets ignore,” said McCabe. “This new podcast is a way to bring our world-class content to a new audience through this powerful medium.”

McCabe said the first episode has three compelling guests.

“TSSN reporter Peter D’Abrosca came on to talk about the story he just broke about Ohio’s COVID-19 numbers, his stories about what leftwing school teachers are posting on TikTok, and his political biography, “Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez: Her mysterious rise from bartender to congresswoman,” he said.

“Next, we have Ohio political strategist Matthew J. Palumbo, who is true Trump World insider, giving his takes on Ohio’s Republican Senate primary,” McCabe said. “Matt is an engaging personality, and his insights into the politics of his home state are peerless.”

The final guest on the podcast is the author and political operative Roger Stone, he said.

“Roger has been in the news lately because he attacked Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis,” he said.

“Roger feels that DeSantis owes his job to President Donald J. Trump, but the governor has not been willing to endorse the president if he runs in 2024,” he said. “I think listeners will find Roger’s analysis of DeSantis fascinating—and no one could accuse him of pulling his punches.”

The Ohio Star Podcast is available at www.theohiostar.com and all major podcast platforms, and it is scheduled to drop Thursdays.
